Chris has been in the funeral service since 1995, having been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 2000. He is a Tazewell High School Class of 1987 graduate and a 2000 honors graduate of Mid-American College of Funeral Service in Jeffersonville, IN where he served as Class President and was the recipient of the Bill Pierce Award for outstanding professionalism in funeral service. Chris has served as Pastor at Cliffield Christian Church in Pounding Mill, Virginia since 2003 and is a U.S. Army Operation Desert Storm Veteran, having proudly served with the 304th Military Police Company in Bluefield, West Virginia.

Chris resides in Tazewell, Virginia with his wife, Jennifer, and their two sons, Adam and Nicholas.
